Solera is delighted to introduce their line of composite granite sinks. The sinks in the Composite Granite line are composed of 80% quartzite and 20% acrylic. This concentration of quartzite and acrylic provides a very durable sink that is resistant to scratches, stains, household acids and heat. The non-porous surface of the sink is able to withstand practically any household cleaner.

Silver ions are added to the sinks during the production process, which allows the sink surface to kill 99% of all bacteria on contact. Silver ions are bioactive and have been known to kill bacteria growth. This powerful mineral has been used for medical purposes for hundreds of years.

Solera Stainless Steel Spotlight

Solera's line of stainless steel sinks is made from 304 grade steel that is cold-rolled to ensure durability. The stainless steel that is used contains 18% chromium and 8-10% nickel, making the sinks stainless and rust-proof. The Chromium found in the steel builds a protective oxide layer over the surface of the sink that will prevent scratching with normal use. With these elements combined, the stainless steel that Solera uses is extremely close to surgical steel that is used in medical equipment.

Since the 304 grade steel is very compliant, it can be molded and formed into many sink designs, making it one of the most valuable types of sink material on the market. Because there is so much flexibility available in this stainless steel, Solera achieves many diverse styles of sinks.

The growing popularity of stainless steel in modern homes is recognized by Solera, which is why they are continuously adding new sink models and expanding their stainless steel line.

Solera Stone Spotlight

Solera offers a wide range of stone vessel sinks. Their natural stone sinks are made from granite, marble, onyx and sandstone in a variety of shapes and patterns. All of their durable stone sinks have beautiful characteristics and unique colors throughout. Since each sink is made from natural stone, there will be variances in color and pattern from sink to sink.

Stone sinks are made by taking a large slab of stone and cutting it into smaller blocks. From there, each block is hand-chiseled and shaped to form the sink. It is then hand-polished to create a shiny, beautiful vessel sink.

The timeless radiance of stone sinks will continue to add interest to any bathroom. Bringing the spirited beauty of the outdoors into your home will surely enchant your guests.

All of Solera's porcelain sinks are available in white and bisque. Both finishes are made to match well with almost all decor styles and the entire line of faucet finishes that Solera offers. Many shapes and styles of porcelain sinks are available for most cabinet sizes and come with a cardboard cut-out template and mounting hardware if required.

Solera Copper Spotlight

Solera Copper sinks are made from 99% pure mined copper it is melted at high temperatures and poured into casts or molds to create its shape and then cleaned and polished. Most of the models that Solera carries for kitchen and bathroom come with a hand-hammered finish. The hammered finish creates a beautiful texture that helps mask minor scratches that happen over time.

The biggest benefit of copper is its antimicrobial properties that can kill bacteria on contact with the sink. Oxidation is also an advantage of copper, acting as a patina that will continue to change the look of the sink for years. This process helps to "repair" blemishes and scratches that may occur naturally.

Solera Copper sinks will add warmth and charm to any kitchen and bathroom decor. As an added benefit, the copper kitchen sinks come fully insulated with sound-dampening pads to prolong the life of the sink. And, all are covered under a limited lifetime warranty.

Solera Bronze Spotlight

The collection of Bronze Sinks from Solera offers an element of art for any bathroom. Each bronze sink is made from pure bronze which has been casted from molds. Many companies offer a bronze resin sink, which is mostly plastic. Since Solera uses pure bronze, their product is extremely durable and made to last a long time.

Each sink is coated with a bronze patina, which will naturally darken over time. Many models offer an "aged patina," which is lighter in color than the "antique patina" offered on the remaining models. Patinas are used to help create and define the shape of the sink and disguise minor scratches that may occur over time.

Solera Bronze Sinks come in many shapes and styles from Asian-inspired to seashells and waves. Every sink is covered under a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the sink.
